Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 4 November 2026

At Fran Kershaw Coaching, I believe that everyone should have equal access to information, opportunities and support.

Inclusion, respect and understanding are central to my approach to executive coaching, and I aim to reflect these values in the experience I provide through my website.

I am committed to making www.frankershaw.com as accessible and easy to use as possible for all visitors, including people with disabilities.

1. My Commitment to Accessibility

I aim to provide a website that is welcoming, accessible and straightforward to navigate, regardless of individual abilities, technology or circumstances.

In developing and maintaining this website, my goal is to follow recognised accessibility best practices, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, wherever reasonably possible.

These guidelines are designed to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of needs, including visual, auditory, physical and cognitive disabilities.

2. Accessibility Features

I aim to support accessibility through thoughtful website design and content presentation, including:

  • Clear and consistent navigation.

  • Readable text and an organised content structure.

  • Appropriate colour contrast between text and backgrounds.

  • Responsive layouts that adapt to different devices and screen sizes.

  • Descriptive headings and meaningful links.

  • Alternative text for informative images.

  • Support for keyboard navigation and assistive technologies.

  • Clear and straightforward language.

These are the accessibility practices I aim to maintain and improve as the website develops.

3. Website Platform

This website is built using Squarespace, a website platform that provides features and tools intended to support accessible web design.

While Squarespace offers accessibility-related functionality, the accessibility of the finished website also depends on how individual pages, content and features are configured.

I recognise the importance of reviewing and improving these elements over time.

4. Accessibility Standards and Current Status

My aim is to align this website with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, an internationally recognised standard for digital accessibility.

The website has not yet undergone a comprehensive accessibility audit, and I cannot currently confirm full conformance with this standard.

Accessibility is an ongoing consideration, and I welcome feedback that helps identify areas where the experience can be improved.

5. Known Limitations

Despite my efforts to make the website accessible, some visitors may experience difficulties with particular features, content or third-party integrations.

These may include differences in how website elements operate with certain browsers, devices or assistive technologies.

I will endeavour to investigate reported accessibility barriers and make reasonable improvements where possible.

6. Alternative Ways to Access Information

If you experience difficulty accessing information on this website, or if you would prefer to receive information about my coaching services in another format, please contact me directly.

I will do my best to provide the information in a suitable and accessible way.

7. Feedback and Assistance

Your experience matters, and I welcome feedback about the accessibility of this website.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, have difficulty using a particular feature or would like to suggest an improvement, please get in touch.

Where possible, it would be helpful to include the page or feature concerned and a brief description of the difficulty experienced.

I will review accessibility enquiries and endeavour to respond in a timely manner.

8. Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time achievement.

I aim to review the website periodically, consider accessibility when adding or updating content, and address identified issues where reasonably practicable.

This Accessibility Statement may be updated as improvements are made or as accessibility standards and website functionality evolve.

9. Contact
